MSATO, LLC presents BFT (Benefit For Troops) 2010

Private event NEW date Saturday JUNE 5, 2010

Registration opens 8:00am and ends 9:30am
All attendees must be with their teams by 9:45am
Group discussion 10:00 am
Team Building begins 10:30am and ends at 5:00pm
Winning team announced at 5:30 pm

This may be the only event at the property this year or who knows when.

Cost for event:
$35 for OPP IV attendees
$50 for all others

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to “Homes for Our Troops” charity.

If you have not been to Tolland, MA the exact address will be e-mailed to you after you register.

Anyone who wants a patch sent to them after the event MUST bring their OWN self addressed stamped envelope, with 2 US postage stamps on the envelope. Turn in your envelope when you sign in and a patch will be mailed out in about 6 weeks. No extra patches will be made, only people who supply envelope will get patch for event.
OPP IV discounted attendees must also provide envelope and $5 for patches.

This is an inactive team building, group dynamics event. Come see old friends and meet new ones as you work together to complete to objectives. Teams that work together usually do the best.

Only participants 16+ are allowed to attend. (14+ with Parent or Guardian present)

All participants must have
• Proper footwear for traveling over rough terrain.
• Compass
• FRS Radio minimum
      o Some teams may want to have their own style.

• Proper color clothing to identify which team you are on for this team building event.
     o South will wear tan based clothing (Multican and ACU will be considered Tan)
     o North will wear a green based clothing

• Any gear or equipment that you feel is appropriate for traveling through the woods while competing against another team.
• This is an environmentally friendly: BIO only event
• You must bring your own food and drink
      o Camelback or canteens
      o No plastic bottles allowed outside parking area.

• All TRASH MUST be taken with you when you leave.

• Leave nothing behind.

Team assignments will be handed out day of event.

MOUT Courses Available May 14th

FYI...Registration is OPEN for the courses on Friday May 14.

These courses are an extra fee but the student teacher ratio is low and the overall cost is low because we already have the MOUT location. There will be a separate area for training to be held in the MOUT area that will not be open to everyone else.

I can tell you all that the Advanced MOUT being taught is unlike anything else out there. This is top notch current stuff. Jeff Froelich is bringing some of the top guys to teach this. Including the Jefferson County S.E.R.T. Team leader.

Gunfighter Course is open and is an individual skill level course.

Take advantage of this incredible training the day before the event. You WILL use it during the next 2 days. You MUST be registered to OPP IV to come to these training courses.

Come on Friday and spend the day training and it will pay off.
